Dr. Stephen Jones of God’s Kingdom Ministries, an impressive spiritual warrior, bible scholar, church historian, and prophetic voice began a fast last Monday, August 2, 2021, at Father God’s prompting. You can read his ongoing fasting journal at the following link:
https://godskingdom.org/blog/series/fasting-journal
The reasons for the fast are, in his words:
“I am nearing the end of my personal wilderness journey in preparation for crossing the Jordan and entering something new. I now realize that my recent stirring to fast and pray in order to know more about the glory of God is directly related to this. I received instruction last night to begin my fast on Monday, August 2. However, I do not yet know how long to fast. It might be a few days or a few weeks. I cannot say at this point…
“I suspect that we may see some serious events ahead of us. America is already on life support, politically, socially, and economically. From what the Babylonian world leaders tell us openly (especially Klaus Schwab), covid-19 was a man-made crisis in order to justify their final power grab…
“I believe a crisis is inevitable. It would not hurt to prepare spiritually, psychologically, and physically.
“While some are of the opinion that God is finished with America, that is not true. America has an important calling in the world, and that calling will be fulfilled. America is under a covenant which our forefathers made with God when they first arrived on this continent. The present crisis is necessary only because we have violated that covenant…
“The church cannot simply blame the nonbelievers or Babylonians. The church was given the anointing to rule on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2. The church started out good, but in the end it proved to be following the pattern of King Saul, the Old Testament Pentecostal. The failure of the church in the early 1900’s—in the midst of the Pentecostal renewal—brought about the Laodicean ‘Church of the Captivity’ in 1913-1914 with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act, putting America into its own Babylonian captivity.
That captivity is now reaching crisis proportions, as God induces the Babylonian leaders to bring about the crisis that will ultimately overthrow their power and set the nation free.
The ‘death’ of America will end in resurrection. The old will give way to a new nation under God. But first the church and the unbelievers as well must learn the results of lawlessness and how it leads the nation down the path of destruction and death.
I believe that the great outpouring of the Spirit will occur at the same time, because it is the Spirit that gives life, having raised Jesus from the dead—and us as well (Romans 8:11, 12, 13)…
“…November 12, 2021 [is an] important 40-year watch date…
“…December 4, 2021 [is] another important watch date….
“For this reason, I feel the need to pray and fast for a season…
“Having suffered with Him, as Paul says, I have an expectation of being glorified with Him as well. That is a bold statement, of course, but it is an issue that I will present to God in my time of prayer and fasting. If God has any objection or any reason to deny my evidence, I want to know what it is so that I may correct the situation.
“I also want to know the nature of His glory….
“…The cross was a glorification experience, so that the Son might glorify the Father.
“So also is it with us. We too must be glorified in order to glorify the Father fully. But that means going to the cross. Not many people like that definition of glory. Yet this is the essence of Passover, and it is the point where the Spirit of God in the pillar of fire begins to lead us toward the Promised Land…
“So the present question is this: what happens at the end of the wilderness? After we have consumed a steady diet of the manna-word, the Logos which is Jesus Christ Himself, how does our diet change when we cross the Jordan into the plains of Jericho?
“The Israelites ‘ate some of the produce of the land‘ on the day after Passover (Joshua 5:11). This was a transitional day before the next day when the manna ceased (Joshua 5:12), marking also the day that Christ would be raised from the dead on the third day. What does this mean? How does this apply to the present situation and to prophecy in general? In that we appear to be coming to the point where the types and shadows are to be fulfilled in our time, these questions are now more relevant than ever, and I cannot assume that I know the answers.
“This may also change how we say The Lord’s Prayer. Matthew 6:11 says, ‘Give us this day our daily bread.’ That was a reference to the manna which was sent daily to the Israelites during their wilderness experience. But the day came when the manna ceased, and then everything changed. As long as we pray to be given ‘our daily bread,’ we show that we are yet in the wilderness. How might this change when we eat the fruits of the Kingdom?
“These questions and more are on the table. I expect to learn the answers to these questions in the months ahead as my diet changes.”
So far these are some of the words that Dr. Jones has heard from the Lord.
“I have granted your request, because we are in covenant.”
“There will be an invasion of heaven.”
“He will come with 10,000 of His saints (or holy ones).”
“When the glory of God hits, there will be no turning back.“
“Watch the watch dates.“
“This includes the collapse of the dollar and other financial events.“
“David is taking down Goliath.“
“There is a weight of glory coming on August 15,”
“A new song is coming.”
“Do not mourn for Saul. He has made his choice.”
“Revival is coming sooner than you think.”
Hopefully, you are inspired to join Dr. Jones in fasting and prayer as you seek the mind and heart of Father as well for what lies ahead of us all.
A Dream
I have been dreaming a lot lately, but not remembering them in the morning. I suspect God has been engaging my Spirit man in some sort of training and/or partnered activity. I wish I could retain it in my conscious physical mind.
So last night, before I went to bed I committed my dream life to Him and invited Him to speak me through my dreams.
He did. Here is what I dreamed.
My wife and I were driving down a country road. It was winter, and there was snow on the ground. There was a background knowledge that some child had disappeared in the area.
As we whizzed down the road, we passed a young boy sitting on a bank at the side of the road. He appeared frozen in place with signs of frostbite on his neck.
I had driven past him before it registered what I had just seen. I stopped as quickly as I could and tried to get turned around so that I could go back and help him.
In the process of turning around, I got onto a side lane or trail through the woods that wasn’t maintained. I ended up spinning and churning my way through about 4 – 6 inches of unplowed snow. Eventually I came out onto another secondary road at place where an abandoned house stood a short distance from the road.
Somehow I knew to look around that house for the lost child.
I got out of my vehicle, leaving my wife in the car, and started toward the house. I was met by a large male wolf who raced toward me, snarling.
I drew a water pistol and began squirting the wolf repeatedly on the end of his snout…right on his nose. That kept the wolf at bay. He kept circling and snarling at me, but as long as I squirted him on the nose, he didn’t touch me.
While squirting him, I managed to find a freshly dug hole next to the house. In the bottom of the hole, I spotted the top of a baby’s head. Continuing to keep the wolf at bay, I dug the baby out of the dirt. It was a very young infant, dirty and unconscious, but alive.
I passed the baby to my wife to treat and revive and returned to the hole.
At some point a female wolf joined the male wolf, and I had to squirt them both to keep them off of me.
I kept digging and recovered another baby and another. These I passed to my wife as well.
Gradually, the wolves dialed back their aggression and stopped trying to attack me. Eventually the seemed almost domesticated, hanging out with me like loyal dogs, but not interfering with my rescue efforts in any way.
Then I noticed a wooden dresser, or chest of drawers standing in the yard beside the house near the hole where I had found the babies. I went to the dresser and searched it. In the bottom drawer I found my last baby, blue with cold and wrapped in rags. I took it to my wife as well.
That is the last I remember of that dream.
I don’t know what all the symbolism means yet, but in general, here are some things to think about.
Lost and abandoned babies remind me of the theme from the previous vision I experienced as recorded in my blog post, Precious Jewels. Go there for details.
Of course a road represents one’s journey, and a vehicle generally represents one’s personal ministry or job.
Snow generally represents blessing, refreshing, righteousness, purity, or grace, although snow on the road suggests a barrier, hindrance or opposition.
An old, abandoned house might indicate the past, revisiting old issues, reclaiming inheritance, etc.
Wolves suggest Satan and evil, false ministries and false teachers, or predators of some sort. In this case the predators were protecting their stash of exploited infants.
The nose represents discernment. Specifically, the wolf’s nose probably represents’ the predators’ ability to perceive, interact with, and receive help from malevolent spiritual entities.
The squirt gun is unique. A gun is obviously a weapon, and with this weapon, I was successfully battling and subduing the wolves.
But why a squirt gun?
Well, water represents the Word of God. (Ephesians 5:26, John 15:3)
As I battled these demonically motivated predators, I kept applying the Word of God to the operating system of their spiritual discernment, until the unholy link was broken.
I asked the Holy Spirit for further clarification, and this is what He gave me:
Ezekiel 36:25 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.”
Numbers 19:18,19 “A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the furnishings and on the persons who were there, and on the one who touched the bone or the one slain or the one dying naturally or the grave. Then the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify him from uncleanness, and he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and shall be clean by evening.”
Very soon, information is going to be disclosed about the elites, child exploitation and all sorts of horrendous corruption. The details will make decent people want to puke and then break out the tar and feathers.
But let me caution you that vengeance belongs to God. Furthermore, as Dr. Stephen Jones says,
“The Creator is good; therefore, all that He created is ‘very good‘ (Genesis 1:31). Matter is inherently good—not evil, as the Greeks thought. If we understand the origins, we will also understand the end of all things. Sin is an invasion of a good creation. That problem was not inherent in creation, and for this reason, when God is finished resolving the problem, all things will be restored to their original state of goodness.
That is what Scripture calls ‘the restoration of all things‘ (Acts 3:21). In the end, death itself will be abolished (1 Corinthians 15:26), and God will be ‘all in all‘ (1 Corinthians 15:28).”
We are not called to zap God’s creation. Even those who have turned into the most depraved of predators. We are called, instead, to rescue the lost and hurting, and help restore Shalom to this broken world until “The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14
As the prophet Micah summarized, “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
Some of us are warriors, like I was in the dream. Battling evil. Rescuing the prisoners. Defending liberty. Upholding justice.
Others, like my wife, wait in the vehicle to nurture, comfort, and restore the wounded victims. Showing mercy.
But all of us must walk humbly with our God as we live out our unique calling and destiny on this earth.
We each have our place. Let us not presume to take the place of God. Let us not judge those who have fallen into the most abominable of practices. If they will not repent, I have no issue with military tribunals or other legitimate law enforcement mechanisms enacting swift and permanent justice in order to “Let God sort them out.”
But let us guard our hearts from a spirit of revenge or retribution for its own sake. We cannot possibly “get even”. The deaths have been too many. The suffering has been perpetrated on a scale so mind-boggling that anything we could imagine to do to those responsible could never tip the scale of “karma”, so to speak, back to equilibrium.
That is why only God can bring perfect impartial justice.
But for our part, let us not return evil for evil. Let our only weapon be the Word of God. Let us appeal all wrongs to the Supreme Court of the universe, and if we ever cross paths with one of those wolves who are truly repentant, let us not withhold sincere forgiveness for any wrongs they have done us personally, lest we become like they were. Instead, let us sprinkle the word of God on them until they are cleansed from their idols.
We want our world fixed? Read Isaiah’s description in Isaiah 11, of how that happens through the Root of Jesse, Yeshua Ha Moshiach:
1Then a shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse,
and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.
2The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and strength,
the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD.
3And He will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what His eyes see,
and He will not decide by what His ears hear,
4but with righteousness He will judge the poor,
and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth
and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.
5Righteousness will be the belt around His hips,
and faithfulness the sash around His waist.
6The wolf will live with the lamb,
and the leopard will lie down with the goat;
the calf and young lion and fatling will be together,a
and a little child will lead them.
7The cow will graze with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8The infant will play by the cobra’s den,
and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest.
9They will neither harm nor destroy
on all My holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the sea is full of water.
